The Boy and His Flock

A 3D collage made with magazine clippings shows a black child wearing a red headscarf with a black flower pattern. The child is looking directly at the viewer with a serious expression and is holding a baby deer across his chest and interlocking fingers of both hands in front of him. Behind the child are two other people wearing white head scarves and walking uphill looking exhausted with their heads tilted toward the ground. There is at least one more small animal with them in the grass and a tree trunk. The background is pitch black except for a trail of white smoke across the top of the sky.
